Las representaciones sociales del estudio en jóvenes con consumo problemático de sustancias psicoactivas que cursan Educación Media Superior

Abstract

El presente proyecto de investigación se enmarca en la cursada de la Maestría en Psicología y Educación de la Facultad de Psicología de la UdelaR. El mismo propone como objetivos identificar, describir y caracterizar las representaciones sociales (RS) en torno al estudio de jóvenes con consumo problemático de sustancias psicoactivas que cursan Educación Media Superior (EMS),con el propósito de comprender cómo se relacionan entre sí e inciden en el desarrollo de las trayectorias educativas. Se parte de un marco teórico donde se profundiza en los conceptos de RS en relación a la educación como eje principal que transversaliza el proyecto, así como también en el desarrollo las nociones de trayectorias educativas y consumo problemático de sustancias. El proyecto pauta como base metodológica un diseño flexible, con orientación cualitativa y un enfoque narrativo biográfico, siendo la entrevista en profundidad la técnica principal para la recolección de datos. Se apuesta a una producción de conocimiento que aporte en el abordaje y prevención del rezago y la desvinculación educativa de estos jóvenes, problemática que impacta fuertemente en Uruguay y es objeto de diversas políticas.

This research project is part of the course of the Master's Degree in Psychology and Education of the Faculty of Psychology of the UdelaR. It proposes as objectives to identify, describe and characterize the Social Representations (SR) around the study of young people with problematic consumption of psychoactive substances who are studying Higher Secondary Education (EMS) in order to understand how they relate to each other and affect the development of educational paths. It starts from a theoretical framework that delves into the concepts of SR in relation to education as the main axis that mainstreamthe project, as well as in the development of the notions of educational trajectories and problematic substance use. The project guidelines as a methodological basis a flexible design, with a qualitative orientation, and a biographical narrative approach,with the in-depth interview being the main technique for data collection. It is committed to a production of knowledge that contributes to the approach and prevention of the backwardness and educational disengagement of these young people, a problem that has a strong impact in Uruguay and is the subject of various policies.
