Aprovechamiento del PET como estrategia de mejoramiento socio ambiental

Abstract

El presente trabajo, plantea la necesidad de dar solución a la gran cantidad de plásticos que se aglomeran en la ciudad de Villa Regina- Rio Negro. Se describe el alcance de la campaña, los objetivos propuestos y la metodología empleada en el mismo para la separación de RSU, desde EDESA-UNCo y el Municipio de esta ciudad. Partiendo de un estudio de referencia demográfico y de concentración local de RSU, se planteó, en principio, colocar una serie de puntos limpios, cuya finalidad fue tener perfectamente identificados por color y/o carteles, recipientes para VIDRIOS, CARTON Y PLASTICOS. El acopio de estos RSU se llevó a cabo durante catorce meses. El proyecto propone una forma de trabajar y reutilizar el sector Plásticos de estos RSU. El grupo de investigación de Energías Desarrollo Sustentable Alimentación EDESA de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue fue quien desarrolló la metodología de uso y aprovechamiento de los mismos. Se describe el diseño, desarrollo y construcción de dos máquinas necesarias, con material de rezago, una extrusora y una chipeadora con diseño del grupo EDESA- Se describen los juegos construidos, el uso del producto procesado, la capacitación y difusión del tema en la sociedad de Villa Regina.
