El lenguaje retórico en la producción de Max Rompo

Abstract

El siguiente texto analiza la producción visual del diseñador argentino Max Rompo. La relevancia y particularidad de sus trabajos se centra en el desarrollo de operaciones retóricas que le otorgan un sentido poético a sus piezas. Mediante una matriz de datos construida a partir del texto Retórica de la imagen (1964) de Ronald Barthes, se seleccionó y analizó trabajos comprendidos entre los años 2012 al 2015 que permitieron identificar los aportes que realizó el diseñador en el ámbito de la comunicación visual, coincidiendo con los primeros años del auge de las redes sociales en Argentina.

The following text analyzes the visual production of Argentine designer Max Rompo. The relevance and particularity of his works focuses on the development of rhetorical operations that give a poetic meaning to his pieces. Using a data matrix built from the text Rhetoric of the Image (1964) by Ronald Barthes, works from the years 2012 to 2015 were selected and analyzed, which allowed us to identify the contributions made by the designer in the field of visual communication coinciding with the first years of the rise of social networks in Argentina.
