El índice palatino como parámetro para determinar la forma de la boveda palatina

Abstract

Las diferentes formas en que se presenta la bóveda palatina modificarían los parámetros de referencia para la localización de accidentes anatómicos. Por lo tanto es necesario un estudio de las formas más frecuentes en que se presenta la misma. Se determinará la relación existente entre los diámetros palatinos (transverso y longitudinal) en cráneos secos humanos adultos. El tamaño de la muestra a analizar será de cincuenta (50). Con el fin de establecer un índice (índice palatino- I.P),que nos permita clasificar a las unidades experimentales de acuerdo a la relación entre los mencionados diámetros. De esta manera se puede, tomar a este índice como parámetro de referencia para agrupar las unidades experimentales en cualquier investigación que involucre a la bóveda palatina.

The different forms in that the palatal vault appears would modify the parameters of reference for the location of anatomical accidents. Therefore a study of the most frequent forms is necessary in than the same one appears. The existing relation between the palatal diameters (transverse and longitudinal) in dry skulls will be determined human adults. The sample size to analyze will be of thirty (50) skulls. Whit the purpose of establishing an index (palatal index - I.P.), that it allows us to classify to the experimental units according to the relation between the mentioned diameters. This way it is possible to be taken to this index like reference parameter to group the experimental units in any investigation that involves the palatal vault.
