Antonio Pasquali: apuntes para un itinerario intelectual

Abstract

En este artículo se exponen los lineamientos generales del itinerario intelectual de Antonio Pasquali en el período 1950-1975. Esta temporalización permitirá identificar diversas huellas en su trayectoria, que condensa diálogos con un heterogéneo universo cultural venezolano. En él se entrecruzan sus preocupaciones teóricas y políticas con los procesos de retorno a la democracia y la radicalización política de principios de los años sesenta. Del mismo modo, se presentan las discusiones de las formaciones intelectuales en torno a la necesidad de generar las condiciones para la modernización cultural y la renovación universitaria.

In this article there are exposed the general limits of Antonio Pasquali’s intellectual itinerary in the period 1950-1975. This temporalización will allow to identify diverse fingerprints in his path, which condenses dialogs with a heterogeneous cultural Venezuelan universe. In him there interbreed his theoretical and political worries with the processes of return to the democracy and the political radicalization of beginning of the sixties. In the same way, they present the discussions of the intellectual formations concerning the need to generate the conditions for the cultural modernization and the university renovation.
