Estudio del efecto de las inversiones de temperatura sobre la emisividad en Salta

Abstract

Se buscó establecer la incidencia de las inversiones de temperatura en la atmósfera sobre la emisividad. Para ello los perfiles promedio mensuales de Salta, obtenidos de datos disponibles del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, fueron modificados de dos formas: a) enderezando el perfil y b) suavizándolo. El tratamiento del perfil original y de sus modificaciones se lo realizó con el programa lowtran 7 y los resultados se compararon con los dados por una correlación propia y la dada por Martin y Berdahl. Los perfiles promedio muestran que las inversiones son comunes en Salta entre abril y octubre, mientras que el tratamiento de ellos indicó la gran importancia del efecto de las inversiones sobre la emisividad atmosférica.

The aim was to establish the incidence of the atmospheric temperature inversions on the emissivity. With this purpose, mensually averaged profiles of Salta obtained from disposable data of the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, were modified in two ways: a) rectifying the profile and b) smoothing it. The original profile and the modified ones were treated with the code LOWTRAN 7 and the results were compared with that of a proper correlation and the one of martin and berdahl. The mensually averaged profiles show that inversions are common in Salta between april and october, while their treatment shows the great importance of the effect of temperature inversions on the atmospheric emissivity.
