Lo ritual y lo sagrado en el teatro

Abstract

El teatro, al igual que el arte en general, se ha constituido, desde sus orígenes más primitivos, en herramienta ritual que religa alhombre con lo sagrado. El presente artículo se centra en el estudio del desarrollo y evolución de dicha característica. Para ello llevamos adelante una investigación sobre los modelos rituales de los cuales se apropia la dramaturgia. Cabe aclarar que los ejemplos que nos remitimos forman parte del corpus del teatro occidental.

The theater, like art in general, has become, from its most primitive origins, a ritual tool that relieves man with the sacred. This article focuses on the study of the development and evolution of this characteristic. For this we carry out an investigation on the ritual models of which the dramaturgy is appropriated. It should be clarified that the examples we refer to are part of the corpus of western theater.
